In einem gemütlichen Haus am Waldrand lebt die kleine Kräuterhexe Pimpinella mit Ihrem Schweinchen Albert.
Das Leben hier ist herrlich. Jeder Tag hat seinen Höhepunkt:
Montag scheint manchmal der Mond....
dienstags ist Badetag.
mittwochs backt Pimpinella herrlich duftenden Mittwochsbrötchen    
und donnerstags gibt es ein Fest für alle Freunde.
Doch diesen Mittwoch ist alles anders. Albert begeht einen großen Fehler und Pimpinella findet im Wald ein himmelblaues Ei.
Und schon ist nichts mehr wie es war.

Herr von Fliegenbein weiß mal wieder alles besser, Vogeldame Mathilde gerät zum dritten Mal diese Woche in Panik, die Kinder der Familie Maus machen Unsinn und als das Ei zerbricht gibt es für alle eine große Überraschung.

Was in dem Ei steckt und warum Albert ganz schön eifersüchtig ist, erfahren alle Kinder ab 3 Jahren in dieser turbulenten Geschichte.
